The only place they spoke english!
It was clean, the hot water takes a while to reach the 2nd floor but it is not a problem just run it for a few minutes. No wifi.
One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The building is old with very high ceilings& nice wooden doors. Very clean and large rooms. The hotel has a nice restaurant. There are not a lot of dishes in the menu but the once they have are amazing. Service is very good too.
Nice people at the front desk and at the restaurant. Big rooms. All modernized, with flat tv & cable plus comfortable leather coach. Good internet speed. Toiletries. May look outdated bur is comfortable and clean. Very tasty food at the restaurant. Perfect position in the center.
The outside look of this hotel is nice. You don't have parking, so gotta find a place on the street. Hallway was ok, with red carpet on the floor, but the room was out dated. High ceilings, old brown furniture. The bed was a small queen, but we were really tired, so we slept like a baby. We had to unplug the lamps so we can use the wall socket.. huge minus. Bathroom was nearly renovated, so we liked it. Too pricy for what it offers. Breakfast was ok. The server was very nice.
Very clean and spacious rooms. The bathroom was huge and also very clean with towels and toiletries provided. We only didn't have much warm water, luckily it is summer and actually cold water was enough, I dont know if in the winter they have similar issue. Staff is very helpful and friendly, speak english quite well. The room also has a fridge and AC. You can park your car in the street outside the hotel. They also offered breakfast for about 25 lei. Would recommend this hotel.
First the waiter was completely inconvenienced by the fact that we decided to come in and order food. Then he was completely inconvenienced that we asked questions because we don’t fully understand the language. After wards he brought us a soup even though we didn’t say this is what I want, we only stated that we think this might be a good soup. When the soup came it had raw and undercooked chicken. Photo below. If you are a foreigner, this is not the place for you to have a meal. The rest of the food was delicious, which is why I gave them 2 stars. We also had a fish dish which was great and their grilled chicken. Unfortunately we will not come here again because of how inconvenienced the waiter was that we came in to eat at their restaurant. I have traveled to many countries and this was the first time that I inconvenienced anybody for being a patron at their restaurant. I was told by someone that this is how they are here because I am a female and a foreigner, but my response is that service is universal. This is supposed to be an upscale restaurant, and service must match that.
